Roberto is a profesionally trained musician, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Puerto Rico. He plays classical and electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, and minor percussion, and has extensive music theory training. His specialty, however, lies in computer music, an area in which he has explored academic and popular styles alike. He is a BMI registered artist.
Roberto has played guitar and bass for several ensembles during his career. Currently, he is playing bass for the band Deathface, and has several ongoing side projects.
Involved in the composition and arranging of new works for ensembles of many different types.
Roberto's home setup centers around Apple and M-Audio hardware running Logic Pro 7.2 and Ableton Live 5.2. Other tools he uses on a regular basis include Max/MSP/Jitter, Csound, Propellerhead Reason, and others.
